The “official” FDA total number of dogs and cats killed by contaminated Pet Food is still 16- but a realistic number is closer to 4000 deceased pets, and 12000-15000 affected pets.
I am aware of over 40 affected pets …

This is a story sent to me published in the Boston Globe.
It notes that one specific company is the source of contaminated wheat gluten,
but this same company supplies gluten for “human food” as well.
