My cat was recently diagnosed with FIP and he is at home with me and getting antibiotics and anti acid medicine, he seems to be doing so much beter, he is eating and drinking and jumping up on things and purring, my question is this, can the fluid be drained from his abdomen? Will he always have to be on medication? Will the medication eventually stop working and the disease kill him?
