Good morning
Friday is here, and the weekend is almost among us.
The weather here is ..well..challenged..rain..cloudy..
rather dismal and cold..
So much so that local practicioners report that they are
treating their human patients for SAD ( Seasonal
Affective Disorder)
But surpprise..there is NO such disorder in dogs or
cats..
Dogs are happy to please and go out in virtually ANY
weather..Cats respond to the crappy weather by staying
inside more and seeking more attention.
They already KNOW what makes them feel good, and they
DON’T depend upon some external force not under their
control.
Perhaps we could learn MORE about basic human happiness
101 by following our pets. In fact if you have some
type of SAD one of the “new” studied treatment recommendations
is to get a pet…
SO this weekend I am going to be spending a whole lot of time
with my Entire family walking our dog Lewis and giving tonnes
of attention to Cleo. Well also be walking some of the Shelter
dogs and playing with some of the kittens in cages.
