Poor Gus. His neighbors should be turned in to the police for animal cruelty. It sounds like he got shot. I pray Gus continues to heal.

Hi Andrew,

Interesting question to say the least. Having holes on either side, makes this even harder to determine. My guess is that he was shot with a slug gun (thats what we call them here in OZ), then turned around quickly and was shot in the inner leg area whilst turning, and another in the other side once completely turned around.
I imagine all of this took less than 2 seconds to occur.
Following this unfriendly and painful experience, I have no doubt he bolted home with all the energy the poor baby could muster. I look forward to learning the "real cause" for his injuries.

sincerely,
Janne

Gus received a bullet(not the mortal ones, I don??t remember the name in english but it??s the kind of bullet that children receive when playing with "toy" guns. In Chile we call them "Poston")
