  1. Does it help foodbased allergies?
And does it have to be a certain brand?
Can’t read the label on your video … you move the bottle too fast

  2. your youtube video says 100mg per 20 lbs daily…….this site says 1mg per 1lb…twice a day…quite a difference?? My 6 yr old pup gets environmental, allergies, a few days into August every year…thx

    1. Hi Steve, there is a big range for dosages with Beta-Sitosterol, it’s a relatively new remedy for dogs. Starting dose is 1-2mg per lb of body weight per day, up to (as in the video) 5mg per lb of body weight daily. For some pets it may take the higher dose to see a difference, watch for digestive issues if giving the higher dosages.

  3. Beta-Sitosterol is working well..he didn’t eat yesterday tho…he’s doing 1mg per 1lb…he’s due for his monthly Heartwoom med ( ivermectin/pyrantel) i’m concerned now about an interaction… any thoughts would be appreciated

    1. For this, maybe its because dog is new to this ingredient, you can lower down the dosage and monitor your pet for couple of days, if still not eating please seek the help of expert or to your local vet.

  4. I can’t always see the name of the product you’ve recommended. It would be most helpful to include a link.

  5. Hi Andrew I am from UK. Can you tell me which brand in UK or on Amazon to buy this Beta-Sitosterol for 13 year old dog with allergies. Also my dog hates me touching her ears, it’s very sore due to bacterial infection that she has had for years. I usually take her to the vet every 4 weeks to get some drops put into her ears. I don’t know how to put your DIY concoction into her ears.

    Please help
