I think it is incredibly selfish to have a healthy dog put down to be buried with its human. Dogs’ lives are short enough. Plenty of people are happy to adopt a dog that’s lost its family
I would not want my little guy’s life cut short because of me. Emma’s owner was thoughtless and careless. If I knew I was ill, didn’t have a family member that wanted my pet, I would’ve put in my will that my little one is to go to a no kill shelter to be adopted.
