No Dogs Allowed: Paralympian Denied Hotel Room Because of Guide Dog

Canadian Paralympic rower Victoria Nolan wanted to book a relaxing stay with her family and guide dog, Allan.

However, the hotel manager comes back only to tell her that they cannot accept her guide dog, as he is severely allergic. Victoria Nolan says she felt humiliated — and that she’s been denied service many times, despite what law says

In British Columbia, there are laws in place to protect people from this issue. Hotels are legally obligated to allow guide dogs and service dogs to stay in any type of accommodation.

Service and guide dogs are an integral part of their owners lives, and in my opinion, accommodations should make it easier to travel with pets or service/guide dogs.
