  1. Thanks Dr. Andrew. Too many most vets are not like you. Most of them are too quick to get out the pad, pen and script some kind of poison to support Big Pharma
I stay away from the vets except for checkups and the ones i use are few and far between. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

  2. Greed! My opinion. This goes for Vets as well as practice for humans. If you go for any reason you are probably going to get a prescription for some thing with MEGA side effects. It might? help one ailment, but if you read the side effects there is a good chance you will get something worse.
Last summer my dog itched, lost hair, skin turned red etc. Oh yea we will do Steroids,Shampoo for $25.00 a bottle plus more. NOTHING helped.
This year I have purchased a shampoo (one gallon $40.00) It is for mange of all kinds. I believe that is what she has. Can use it three times a week if need be for aprox one month. She has had three baths and starting to look better. I give her some vitamins, yogurt,2 allergy pills (over the counter.) I do have a different Vet who does as much holistic as permits. He pushes nothing on me or anyone. He is listed on line as the number ONE Vet in the area. I know he is there if I need him. His staff has said keep doing what you are doing.

    Sincerely,

    M Bourque
