  1. Dear Dr. Jones,

A couple weeks ago, a mass was removed from jaw of our 88lb 9-yo black lab, Zeus. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with Oral (amelanotic) Malignant Melanoma with possible early lymph node metastases. His CT scan showed very minimal changes to the bone and no tumor in the nasal cavity.

Options are; 1) aggressive surgery with removal of part of jaw and lymph node and treatment with immunotherapy and melanoma vaccine, prognosis 15-18 mos, 2) vaccine treatments and no surgery prog 10-12 mos, or 3) palliative care w/piroxicam along with Chinese herbs prog 4-6 mos.

We know the great benefits of ivermectin for humans and have some here at home (6mg tabs). We want to start giving to Zeus and will follow your dose recommendations. Can we use these tablets instead of injections, and how often do we give it to him?

Your article and video posted yesterday (same day we received Zeus’ report). I don’t believe in coincidences.

We look forward to your response and any suggestions you may have.

    Thank you so much,
    Lisa and Ray

        1. Any brand of Ivermectin that can be bought on stores like Amazon.
A source we’ve used for Panacur here in Canada is “Pets Drug Mart”. You can order various amounts, it arrives in a bottle that’s filled when you order, it’s not a printed label -it’s looks like something you’d get from your Vet or a pharmacy – but it is legitimate. Here’s the direct link:

            1. Here is Dr. Jones’ advice on Panacur (Fenbendazole) for cancer:

The regimen for cancer is 50 mg/kg of body weight (or 23 mg per lb), once daily for 3 days on / 4 days off.

If Panacur (Fenbendazole) is in liquid form, it has a concentration of 100 mg/ml. For example, a 50 lb dog would receive 11.5 ml (1150 mg) per day for 3 days on / 4 days off.

If Panacur is in the form of granules or packets (222 mg/g), a 50 lb dog would get 5 granules, or 5 of the 1 g packets (5 g total).

If giving Panacur in paste form (100 mg/g), a 50 lb dog would receive 11.5 grams of Panacur.

Dr Jones suggests trying this for a month to see if your pet will respond.

  2. ?, hi, I’m Dr. Michael Jones,DVM. I’m 90% equine practice so don’t see as many cancers as small animals, could be we deworm with Ivermectin & Fenbendazole regularly????. So far the Ivermectin has worked for squamous cell carcinoma, sarcoids, & melanoma cases. Currently trying it for auricular plaques…

    1. Hi Dr Jones,

I currently have a gelding with squamous on his sheath. Do you have a published paper explaining dosage/course of ivermectin to treat this? We are doing Chemo injections but it seems to be only growing and quickly. My Vet and I are looking into finding the correct course using Ivermectin. Any help you can offer would greatly be appreciated.

  3. Watching your vid on Ivermectin for cancer. I understand the dose you are suggesting, but, curious on how often it would/should be repeated? Once a year seems right for parasites but cancer would be more aggressive. Should there be a repeat process, and how often. I have a German Shepherd and they are on the list of being susceptible to, or have issues with to much Ivermec.

  4. Hello, my 11yr old dog had a massive tomour remove from bladder and was connected to slpeen. It is histiocystic sarcoma. Any chance this ivermectin can help? He’s about 17lbs. Thank you
