  1. As an elder orphan (a senior, no kids or living family), your mother in law was lucky to have the support of your family at the end of her life. Love is the most important component of life and we cannot control all the ups and downs, but we can love. I am sure your mother in law felt deeply loved by all those that assisted her at the end. She did not have to deal with her illness alone and feel abandoned. That is a reason to be grateful. The fact that you are a bit off since her illness is testament to your love for her. I wish you and your family the best as you heal from your loss.

  2. Thank you for sharing your loss with us. I hope your family can become closer as you heal together.

I’m glad I found your website to help with some challenges I’m facing with my older dog.

  3. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. I’m glad your mother-in-law had her loved ones around her. Sending many prayers to all your family and friends through these hard times and always.
